It’s finally here! Today, I’m happy to be taking part in the Persuasion of Deceit cover reveal! I absolutely love the premise of this book and I can’t wait for it to be released on August 13th, so I was excited for the opportunity to be part of revealing the gorgeous cover. (Especially considering the fact that Toni is actually a fellow rep for An Unexpected Apothecary!) So, a massive thank you to NBB Tours for including me!
You can keep reading for the official blurb, but let’s take a moment to talk about the stunning cover art. I love the sword that’s front and center, and I am obsessed with the silky red fabric that’s woven through everything. And, of course, the leaves are a great addition. I always love it when publishers/authors include hints of nature in the cover art.
And if you enjoyed this Persuasion of Deceit cover reveal post, feel free to use the Book Tours tab above to find more amazing book tours! By now, I’ve participated in quite a few, so there are a lot of great books to check out there.

How do you fight an enemy who can turn your friends against you with a mere thought?
Raven is terrified when she hears her father and the King’s General discussing their plans to assassinate the king. She’s also determined to join their scheme. If there’s even a chance they can take down the man who’s terrorizing the country, she wants to be part of it.
The king’s power to compel people to his will is no secret. And neither is his unforgiving cruelty. But as a fresh face, Raven has the potential to get close to the king—a fact that does not sit well with her father or the man she loves.
Soon she and her friends find themselves drawn into a lethal web. At the palace, Raven is met with threats from all sides—astonishing secrets from her own past, a betrayal that cuts her to her core, and a foe who is far more intimate and chilling than she could have imagined.
The king is a master at mind games…and if they fail the penalty will be death . . . or worse.
