Today is St. Patrick’s Day, which means two things. One: I can get green bagels!!! And two: Today’s Top 5 Wednesday prompt is holiday-themed, and focuses on books with green covers, that essential St. Patrick’s Day color!

This one’s pretty straightforward: In honor of St. Paddy’s Day, find five shamrock green covers! The brighter the better.

(This month’s prompts were provided by Alex (The Scribe Owl). Top 5 Wednesday was originally created by GingerReadsLainey.)

So, sit back and relax, grab your own green-dyed food, and enjoy some stunningly green cover art!

A Heart So Fierce and Broken (Cursebreakers #2) by Brigid Kemmerer

The Cursebreakers trilogy has been on my TBR for what feels like forever. And I see people recommend it often, so my expectations are high. Additionally, these books have some seriously gorgeous covers. I really can’t wait to add them to my shelves!

Remote Control by Nnedi Okorafor

Published just recently, this book’s premise is fascinating. Though, I think anyone would find the idea of a girl who has death at her fingertips fascinating. The fact that the cover art is absolutely gorgeous, too, is just extra icing on the cake.

The Spirit Hollows by P.R. Brewer

Right, this one is from my read list and not be TBR. But I loved this book, so I felt the need to include it. Especially considering the stunning green cover art! Honestly, that gorgeous cover made me pick up the book in the first place. Which I’m thankful for, because like I said, I really did love this one.

The Mirror of Fate (Merlin Saga #4) by T.A. Barron

I actually don’t own this particular edition. Except for the first book in this series, I own the older editions. I found them at a used bookstore at a great price, so of course, I bought them there. And honestly, I think they have a certain charm about them that makes me like the older editions more. Maybe that’s because I first read those versions; I don’t know. Regardless, I cannot deny that the newer covers are beautiful. Especially this green one!

Fablehaven (Fablehaven #1) by Brandon Mull

Yes, I included Fablehaven on this list. I cannot put into words how much I loved this series as a kid! And honestly, I still love the magic of it all. Seriously, Brandon Mull is a seriously talented writer; I really loved The Beyonders, too. But anyway, back to this cover! Personally, my favorite part is the fairies flitting around the edges. But the witch and her cabin are pretty awesome, too! I actually like all the original covers from this series. The publisher revamped them at some point in the last few years, but I definitely prefer the originals!
